Lady Gaga<\/a> is, once again, taking her inimitable songwriting prowess to the silver screen. Having just announced her forthcoming single \u201cHold My Hand,\u201d the song has been written for the latest installment of the iconic Tom Cruise franchise Top Gun: Maverick<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHold My Hand,” which is available May 3, was produced by Gaga, in concert with her known collaborator, BloodPop and Benjamin Rice. Described as a \u201clove letter to the world,\u201d the score played in the feature film also includes additional production and instrumentals by Harold Faltermeyer and Hans Zimmer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so grateful to Tom and Hans and Joe for this opportunity\u2014and it\u2019s been a beautiful experience working with them.
