Directed by <strong>Kasi Lemmons<\/strong> and written by the film&#8217;s <strong>Anthony McCarten<\/strong> comes <em>I Wanna Dance With Somebody,\u00a0<\/em>an upcoming movie on the life of <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/grammys-iconic-moments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Whitney Houston<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Today the film poster was released and reveals a first look at <strong>Naomi Ackie<\/strong>&#8216;s transformation into the music legend. The promo stars Ackie in a white T-shirt, skinny denim jeans, leather jacket and boots. It also stars <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/emily-blunt-brother-in-law-stanley-tucci\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stanley Tucci<\/a><\/strong> as <strong>Clive Davis<\/strong>, <strong>Ashton Sanders<\/strong> as Houston&#8217;s husband <strong>Bobby Brown<\/strong>, <strong>Tamara Tunie<\/strong> as Houston&#8217;s mother <strong>Cissy<\/strong>, <strong>Clarke Peters<\/strong> as Houston&#8217;s father <strong>John<\/strong> and <strong>Nafessa Williams<\/strong> as Houston&#8217;s former assistant and creative director <strong>Robyn Crawford<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The film has been made in cooperation with the Houston estate with Whitney&#8217;s sister-in-law and former manager Pat Houston serving as a producer on the film.
