(Photo by Theo Wargo\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Australian fashion designer Dion Lee released his latest Spring-Summer 2022 campaign which takes inspiration from and features the avant-garde pop star, Grimes, modeling in the ads.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The singer has a very recognizable ethereal, futuristic aesthetic (remember her Iris Van Herpen Met Gala dress with metal sword?) but she told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vogue.com\/article\/grimes-dion-lee-campaign\" target=\"_blank\">Vogue<\/a><\/em> in a recent interview that she&#8217;s \u201cde-gothing&#8221; at the moment, so her style is all about white looks with a theme that&#8217;s &#8220;mostly Medieval futurism.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Grimes&#8217; aesthetic plays into Dion Lee\u2019s new collection which includes pieces such as a white, \u201candrogynous anime\u201d jacket, which she modeled in the photos. Her album, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Delete Forever, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">played an important significance for the designer during lockdown, he told <em>Vogue<\/em>. &#8220;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I am incredibly inspired by how hands-on Grimes is with everything she creates, from writing and producing her music to directing her videos\u2026it was inspiring to see how the sound translated into visual mythology for the album and the parallels between designing and creating a collection for me each season.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the interview, the 34-year-old musician also spoke about what fans can expect in her new album, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Book 1, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">which she says<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8220;inaccurately and dramatically details the burgeoning era of technocracy and trans-humanism from within the corpo court. This sounds pretentious on paper\u2026.
