Stepping onto the 94th<\/sup> Academy Awards<\/a> red carpet, Zendaya<\/a> (as usual) was one of the best dressed guests of the night in her Valentino Haute Couture ensemble. She made quite the entrance wearing a cropped white blouse and skirt embroidered with sequins, which appeared to be heavily influenced by a past Oscars’ look.<\/p>\n

The Dune<\/em> actress’ white silk cropped collared shirt by Valentino creative director Pier Paolo Piccioli<\/a> paired with a skirt recalled images of Sharon Stone<\/a>\u2019s similarly-styled look from the 1998 Oscars.<\/p>\n

Rethinking the Oscars dress code, Stone paired her lavender Vera Wang skirt with a men\u2019s dress shirt borrowed from her then-husband Phil Bronstein, causing the unexpected look to go down in Oscars best dressed history<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Writer and podcast host Evan Ross Katz clocked the similarities on Instagram<\/a>, captioning a side-by-side image of the two actresses: “Zendaya channeling Sharon Stone.” Zendaya<\/a>‘s right-hand-man stylist Law Roach<\/a> commented on the post, \u201cI love a girl that gets a reference.\u201d<\/p>\n
