American rapper, singer and songwriter Megan Thee Stallion says she was shot multiple times in the foot on Sunday. The 25-year-old (real name: Megan Pete) and an unidentified woman were in a car with rapper Tory Lanez (real name: Daystar Peterson) when he was pulled over and arrested for concealing a weapon in the early hours of Sunday morning in the Hollywood Hills.<\/p>\n

Police officers reportedly were called after shots were fired outside a house. While Pete was not arrested, TMZ<\/a> <\/em>is reporting she suffered an injury to her foot due to broken glass on the floor of the car. The publication says law enforcement sources told them officers took the singer to the hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n

But the \u201cSavage\u201d singer is telling a different story. She says she was shot in the foot, as per her latest Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe narrative that is being reported about Sunday\u2019s morning events are inaccurate and I\u2019d like to set the record straight,\u201d she wrote. \u201cOn Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me. I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I\u2019m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I\u2019m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night. I\u2019m currently focused on my recovery, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added in a comment on Instagram, \u201cI was never arrested. This whole experience was an eye opener and a blessing in disguise. I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy.\u201d<\/p>\n

TMZ<\/em> posted distant footage<\/a> of the dramatic scene where Peterson was arrested. You can see Pete limp on the footpath and her foot leaving traces of blood with every step.<\/p>\n

An unidentified woman also exits the vehicle. We are predicting this person could be Pete\u2019s friend Kelsey Nicole who posted to her Instagram that she was present at the shooting. \u201cI want to clear up the rumors that I shot Megan,\u201d she writes. \u201cI wasn\u2019t the one with the gun and would never do something like that. However I was present.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier in the evening, Pete and Peterson attended a party a Kylie Jenner\u2019s house.<\/p>\n

According to the police report, Peterson was arrested on felony charges at 4:40am Sunday and released on $35,000 bond around six hours later. He has a court date scheduled for October 13.<\/p>\n
