She\u2019s the lady in red while everybody else is wearing tan!<\/em> From her trademark laugh and hysterical hijinks, no one could forget the character Fran Fine’s signature standout styles on the ’90s sitcom, The Nanny<\/em>. They were colorful, they were campy, and they were full of designer finds from Thierry Mugler, Moschino, Versace, and Dolce & Gabbana to name a few.<\/p>\n

Now, pieces from The Nanny\u2019s<\/em> exemplary costume array will be showcased at the Tripostal art gallery in Lille, France, as part of the Series Mania festival<\/a>. The Nanny<\/em> Exhibit<\/a>, curated by Chris Brempel, Clara Haseloff, and Marina Sacco, was created to “bring back the happiness and the joy that this show and the costumes have brought to the people around the world,” the website<\/a> states.<\/p>\n

Not going to Lille anytime soon? The exhibition is going to be hitting “many cities,” the official Instagram account says, while urging fans to \u201cstay tuned.\u201d (The show was supposed to originally debut in New York in 2020, but the opening was canceled due to COVID-19.)<\/p>\n

Starring as Fran Fine<\/a> throughout the series\u2019 six seasons spanning from 1993-1999, Fran Drescher appears via video on Instagram, addressing showgoers, \u201cHi, I\u2019m Fran Drescher! Welcome to The Nanny<\/em> exhibition!\u201d<\/p>\n
