Now that HBO Max has confirmed<\/a> And Just Like That<\/em> will be coming back for another season, we couldn’t help but wonder which characters will be back on the small screen.<\/p>\n

It’s safe to say that the original trio \u2014 Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker<\/strong><\/a>), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon<\/strong>) and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis<\/strong>) \u2014 are going to be back in action.<\/p>\n

After the streamer made the announcement, Parker, Nixon and York took to social media to gush over how successful the Sex and the City<\/em> reboot<\/a> was.<\/p>\n

“Season 2. Thank you to our audience. Plain and simple. You are our heartbeat. We love you so. X, SJ\u200b\u200b,” the actress captioned a photo of the cast via Instagram.<\/p>\n

“#AndJustLikeThat…we’re coming back for season 2! \ud83d\udc4f\ud83e\udd17\ud83c\udf89,” Nixon exclaimed, while Davis added, “We are so excited to continue the show! Thank you to all of our supporters and also to everyone who had something to say. As\u00a0@variety said ‘the show that made the internet explode in conversation each week.’ What a thrill to be a part of a show like this<\/a>! And so thrilled to get to continue \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc Thank you\u00a0@hbomax \ud83d\udc9c.”<\/p>\n

It’s unclear who else will be reprising their roles, but Sara Ramirez<\/strong><\/a>, who played Che Diaz, reposted a video that announced that season 2 is coming, so it’s likely they will be coming back, too.<\/p>\n

Before the good news was shared, Sarita Choudhury<\/strong>, who plays Seema Patel, was on board with telling more stories.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust the other day, I was thinking, \u2018I wonder.\u2019 Because there\u2019s a point where they let you know if there is or not and we\u2019re not at that point yet,\u201d she spilled. \u201cI was thinking, \u2018God, I hope there is,\u2019 And also, I was thinking, you know when you\u00a0bring in new characters<\/a>\u00a0and you just start establishing and everyone\u2019s getting used to all of us having grown up, Carrie\u2019s grown up. I feel like the second [season] would be able to just jump into who they really are as opposed to getting the audience used to seeing what they\u2019re seeing. So I\u00a0would love a second season<\/a>, but I really don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though season 1 ended with Carrie texting her old pal Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall<\/strong><\/a>), don’t expect a cameo from the actress.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo. Just like there was no thought that Kim would ever participate in\u00a0And Just Like That<\/em>, because she\u2019s said what she had said,\u201d executive producer Michael Patrick King<\/strong><\/a> said, referring to how the blonde beauty trashed the show and her coworkers.<\/p>\n
