Actress Simone Ashley was a vision on the Bridgerton<\/em> season 2<\/a> red carpet, or rather, its mock green grass carpet. Opting for a midriff-baring ensemble (we know how she feels about a constricting corset<\/a>), Ashley chose a Gucci ensemble for the London premiere of the Regency-era<\/a> drama\u2019s second season at Tate Modern.<\/p>\n

Styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, Ashley\u2019s Gucci Love Parade look contained all the frill, sparkle, lace, and wow-factor worthy of a Bridgerton<\/em> event.<\/p>\n

Ashley paired her white wide-collar crop top and black lace skirt with embroidered detailing and velvet trim, with a Gucci underwear set (complete with garters), black stockings, and matching lace gloves with ruffles at the top.<\/p>\n

She accessorized with heels and earrings that featured white diamonds on the flower pendant (both Gucci). As for her glam, her long locks were styled in a straight center part and she rocked a bold smokey eye with red accent.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old Sex Education<\/em> actress stars in the Shonda Rhimes<\/a> creation as newcomer Kate Sharma. Bridgerton<\/em><\/a>‘s sophomore season follows a love triangle between sisters Kate and Edwina Sharma (played by Charithra Chandran) and Viscount Anthony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey). With new drama to follow, Ashley is poised to be the breakout star of the season.<\/p>\n

With much of the original cast returning, such as Phoebe Dynevor<\/a>, Nicola Coughlan, and Adjoa Andoh, and more, we’ll be missing the Duke of Hastings, Reg\u00e9-Jean Page<\/a> (who announced he’s leaving the show<\/a> last year).<\/p>\n

With the series’ highly-anticipated second season coming to Netflix this Friday, March 25, we’re ready to sip some tea and catch up on all of Lady Whistledown’s
