Alana Haim is no stranger to fame or walking red carpets as part of the Grammy-nominated band Haim<\/a> alongside her sisters Este and Danielle. But since her critically acclaimed debut performance in the Paul Thomas Anderson film Licorice Pizza<\/em>, Haim has gone from chic pop-rocker to one to watch on the Hollywood style scene.<\/p>\n

The newly-minted actress snagged best actress nominations at the Golden Globes<\/a>, BAFTA Awards<\/a>\u00a0and Critics\u2019 Choice Awards<\/a>, quickly becoming a staple in the awards show circuit. Stepping out in custom Marni, bespoke Louis Vuitton by Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re<\/a>, and looks from Bottega Veneta and The Row<\/a>, the multi-hyphenate talent has kept a balance between opulent gowns and simple separates.<\/p>\n

While she’s used to matching her sisters\/bandmates<\/a> with their often coordinated looks, Alana is finding her signature style thanks to the help of longtime stylist Rebecca Grice<\/a>. In fact, whenever the trio has stepped out together, Este and Danielle have often worn more muted colors to let Alana shine (see here<\/a> and here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Alana’s transition from musician to actress all started after Anderson, a family friend, sent the youngest Haim the screenplay of the film. With the lead character’s name being Alana, the musician felt an immediate connection. After snagging the role, Alana’s sisters and parents were also given cameos in the Oscar-nominated film. A feel-good coming-of-age story, Licorice Pizza<\/em> tells the tale of Alana Kane (Haim) and Gary Valentine (Cooper Hoffman) as they grow up and fall in love in 1970s California.<\/p>\n

As the awards show season finally comes to an end, we’re looking back at Alana’s leading lady style.<\/p>\n
