Dua Lipa<\/a> is never one to play it safe when it comes to fashion. With two electrifying ensembles, the pop star made her way to New York City\u2019s 30 Rock for her late night appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>. \u201cYou know,\u201d Lipa told Fallon, \u201cI always make a big effort when I come on this show. I love it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Opting for two abs-baring, cutting-edge styles, replete with funky footwear, Dua Lipa kept it chic and simple when it came to her hairstyle. Donning a topknot with her choppy bangs living in the limelight, Dua left more room to really get creative with her outfits.<\/p>\n

Traipsing around the Big Apple before her Jimmy Fallon<\/em> appearance, Lipa flexed her pop star power in a double-denim Diesel Fall\/Winter 2022<\/a> set. Topped off with a shimmering chain choker, we can\u2019t help but recall Britney Spears<\/a>\u2019 iconic 2001 AMA\u2019s appearance when we see this much denim. A modern take on the Canadian tuxedo, Lipa\u2019s distressed zip-up bralette was teamed up with a pair of seamless pantaboots or joots<\/a> (the debate on what to call the jean-boot hybrid rolls on), and a matching denim handbag, all fresh off the the Milanese runway.<\/p>\n

The medium-wash creation by creative director Glenn Martens was topped off with a frayed belt with the Diesel brand name encrusted in glimmering rhinestones. The latest of A-list celebs to champion the resurgence of the Y2K cult-followed label, Lipa is one of the first to snag these coveted pieces following their recent runway debut.<\/p>\n

As always styled by Lorenzo Posocco, Lipa\u2019s Jimmy Fallon visit saw plaid, bling, hearts, and a lot of feathers<\/a>. Chatting about her Future Nostalgia<\/em> Tour, her most recent concert at Madison Square Garden, and her passion project newsletter Service95 <\/em><\/a>and coordinating podcast At Your Service<\/em><\/a>, Lipa gave Fallon the rundown in her Area<\/a> Fall\/Winter 2022 two-piece set.<\/p>\n

Donning a tweed heart-shaped, crystal embroidered crop top with a matching green, and yellow houndstooth mini skirt with green feather trim from the brand’s Collection 02, Lipa went wild with her footwear once again with black fuzzy thigh-high platform boots.<\/p>\n

After Fallon asked the singer to show him her viral “Don\u2019t Start Now” hip-swinging dance, Lipa replied, \u201cI don\u2019t know if I can do it in these boots, but you know what? Snow boots, rain, wind, shine, whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also dished on her “pinch me” moments with the legendary Sir Elton John, and surprised one of her biggest fans, 80-year-old Papa Richy, who was brought on the show under the guise of doing a radio interview about his viral TikTok featuring his grand reaction to his granddaughter surprising him with tickets to a Dua Lipa concert. The sweet moment was caught on The Tonight Show<\/em>, as the senior super-fan got his wish of dancing with Dua Lipa.<\/p>\n
