Fans have been loving Suze, played by Alanna Ubach<\/strong>, who is Cassie and Lexi’s mom in Euphoria<\/em><\/a>. In season 2, Suze became a fan-favorite \u2014 and viewers couldn’t believe that the actress actually has a pretty impressive resume!<\/p>\n

Ubach appeared as Elle Woods’ (Reese Witherspoon<\/strong>) bestie in Legally Blonde<\/em><\/a>, and she also had stints on Friday Night Lights<\/em>, Men of a Certain Age<\/em>, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce<\/em> and Snowfall<\/em>.<\/p>\n

But fans are loving that Ubach, who is usually seen sipping on some wine, is a fierce mama. “I think she\u2019s doing the best she can in spite of the fact that she\u2019s competing with social media<\/a>. We\u2019re the first generation of parents with children who have answers in their pockets for anything, whether they\u2019re right answers or wrong answers. When you\u2019re competing with something like Google or TikTok or Instagram, it\u2019s a breeding ground for narcissism. These children are not emotionally mature enough to handle whatever is being put out there about them online,” she explained to Vulture<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

She continued, “I think there\u2019s a lot of guilt. Knowing that had she made better choices, had she worked on her marriage, these kids wouldn\u2019t feel they have to act out the way they\u2019ve been doing. My guess is if you really peel the layers, Suze is probably clinically depressed. I just don\u2019t think she is capable of picking up the phone and going to therapy or rehab<\/a>. She\u2019s quite limited, and she\u2019s doing the best she can.”<\/p>\n

One of the reasons why the brunette beauty was “attracted to the character” was because it “reminded me so much of the mother of one of my best friends. Her name was Linda Morales<\/strong>,” she explained. “She was the favorite mom. Everyone loved her. She was the one you went to when you got pregnant. She was the one you went to when you were kicked out of school.”<\/p>\n

“No one was afraid of her. She didn\u2019t act as an authority figure<\/a>. She acted as a big sister. I thought, ‘Wouldn\u2019t that be fun to live in her for a while?’ Every role is different, but with this one, because my character was so small in the very beginning, I remember filming at one point and raising my hand and saying, ‘Sam, what do I do for a living?’ He\u2019s like, ‘I think you\u2019re a manicurist.’ I was like, ‘You know what? I was going to say the same thing. Or maybe I run a salon.’ I have to be doing OK to support these two girls. They have a lot of s**t in their bedrooms,” she added.<\/p>\n
