While Sydney Sweeney<\/strong>‘s character, Cassie<\/a>, doesn’t have the best of luck when it comes to her love life in Euphoria<\/em>, the blonde beauty can’t say the same.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the actress was spotted wearing a huge rock on that<\/em> finger, and on Wednesday, March 2, PEOPLE<\/em><\/a> confirmed she is engaged to<\/a> Jonathan Davino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

So, what is Davino’s deal?<\/p>\n

The two were first photographed together at an InStyle<\/em> dinner in 2018. Since then, the duo have stayed under the radar, which is how Sweeney approaches her personal life.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t date people in the spotlight,\u201d the 24-year-old told Cosmopolitan<\/u><\/em><\/a>\u00a0in her February 2022 cover interview. \u201cI don\u2019t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it\u2019s easiest.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a great support system. I have people who will battle for me and allow me to be on the pedestal and shine without making me feel like, ‘Oh no, I’m shining too bright and I need to step back<\/a>.’ I look for a best friend. I need to be able to be with someone who I can literally hang out with 24\/7 and never get sick of and we laugh every single day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jonathan, 37, who is a restauranteur, lives in Chicago, Cosmopolitan UK<\/em> reported, and in 2019, Sweeney teased that she could settle down in the Midwest one day. \u201cI have a place there,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s like my getaway place.\u201d<\/p>\n
