It’s been quite some time since The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel<\/em><\/a> has been on the air, but Rachel Brosnahan<\/strong><\/a>, who plays Midge Maisel, is thrilled to be back on the small screen again.<\/p>\n

“We’re so excited,” the actress declared. “I just hope that we are able to capture even a little bit of how it felt for us to come back after so long away. It was pure joy<\/a> despite difficult circumstances and it felt like\u00a0even just a small bit of normalcy infused back into our lives. So I\u00a0hope that in addition to many laughs and beautiful clothes … that that’s something that we can give back to the fans after so much time.”<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old admitted that it was so fun to be reunited with her cast members, which include Tony Shalhoub<\/strong>, Alex Borstei<\/strong>n, Michael Zegen<\/strong>, Marin Hinkle<\/strong> and more.\u00a0“There was nothing like getting the band back together again<\/a> and shooting the show after so long away,” she gushed. “It was incredible.”<\/p>\n

After Midge hit rock bottom at the end of season 3, the new episodes<\/a> will enter another era: the 1960s!<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s been amazing to see how all of the designers are involved with the show, from Donna Zakowska<\/strong>, our costume designer, to Bill Groom<\/strong>, our production designer, but they’re acknowledging something that\u2019s true, which is that iconic look of the ’60s,” Brosnahan shared of the outfits. “It doesn\u2019t just instantly appear, it evolves as we enter the period. I think you\u2019ll see little bits and pieces of iconic ’60s enter its way into the show. The characters may dabble a little bit in the world of politics and the clothes just keep getting better and better. Donna just keeps outdoing herself season after season.”<\/p>\n

On February 17, it was announced that the Amazon series will return for one final season<\/a> \u2014 a bittersweet way to end.<\/p>\n
