So, will Carrie Bradshaw<\/a> come back into our lives again?! The season 1 finale of And Just Like That<\/em><\/a> aired just a few weeks ago and fans are already begging for more content.<\/p>\n

Now, HBO and HBO Max Content Chief Casey Bloys<\/strong> hinted at what the fate of the show looks like.<\/p>\n

“It’s really Michael Patrick King<\/strong> and Sarah Jessica [Parker]<\/strong> talking to figure out if there’s a story they’re excited by,” he said, adding that he thinks there “will be” another season, “but they’re talking and making sure they want to jump in.”<\/p>\n

“It’s a big commitment, and they’ll come to us and let us know what they’re thinking but I’m feeling good about it<\/a>,” Bloys added.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for if Kim Cattrall<\/strong>, who played Samantha Jones on Sex and the City<\/em><\/a>, will make an appearance<\/a>, Bloys isn’t convinced.<\/p>\n

“I don’t think [she’d return],” he said. “I think they handled it really sensitively and really well. I don’t expect to have those conversations.”<\/p>\n

During the season 1 finale, Carrie flies to Paris, France, to spread Mr. Big’s ashes<\/a>. After doing so, she then contacts Samantha, who is living in London, explaining that she was in Europe and they should meet for a drink. The publicist writes back that she would see her the next day.<\/p>\n

Though the door is somewhat open for Cattrall’s return, King declared that was not happening<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo. Just like there was no thought that Kim would ever participate in\u00a0And Just Like That<\/em>, because she\u2019s said what she had said,\u201d he declared, referring to the blonde beauty\u2019s comments about how she clashed with her costars and was done with the franchise forever.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only place I participate in magical thinking is in fiction \u2026 Magically thinking, it\u2019s great to have Samantha,\u201d he added. \u201cI have no realistic expectation of Kim Cattrall ever appearing again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cattrall wasn’t physically in the series, but her character did did correspond with Carrie a few times<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a big day for me as a writer when I realized that even though Kim Cattrall didn\u2019t\u00a0want to be in the series<\/a>, Samantha could be \u2014 because of texting,\u201d King explained of Samantha\u2019s presence.\u00a0\u201cI was like, \u2018Right! Samantha can be in the show.\u2019 Because she should be: She\u2019s part of the show and people love her.
