She doesn&#8217;t know where she&#8217;s going exactly, but she knows she has to go somewhere. And I think that&#8217;s always been true of Miranda, right?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Miranda&#8217;s very smart, and she&#8217;s very tenacious, but the idea that she&#8217;s levelheaded \u2014 she&#8217;s never been levelheaded!&#8221; she continued. &#8220;She&#8217;s a loose cannon, a very opinionated loose cannon. She&#8217;s always been a bull in a china shop and losing her temper and blowing things up then having to backtrack when she calms down.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In the series, fans were pleasantly surprised to learn that <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/reconsidering-miranda-steve-sex-and-the-city\/\">Miranda&#8217;s marriage to Steve<\/a> (<strong>David Eigenberg<\/strong>) is in a rut, so when Che (<a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/who-is-sara-ramirez-and-just-like-that-che-diaz\/\"><strong>Sara Ramirez<\/strong><\/a>) comes into her life, she finds another part of herself that she didn&#8217;t know.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_50303\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-50303\" style=\"width: 637px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-50303\" src=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2022\/02\/GettyImages-1355135776.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"Cynthia Nixon\" width=\"637\" height=\"418\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-50303\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">James Devaney\/GC Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;She gives up her very lucrative corporate job and goes back to try and make something more of her life. As Miranda says: We&#8217;re not old, we&#8217;re 55. I mean, you&#8217;re certainly closer to the end than to the beginning. But if you&#8217;re not happy with where you are, you still have a lot of time to <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/sara-ramirez-understands-the-che-diaz-hate\/\">make a change<\/a>,&#8221; she said of Miranda&#8217;s decision to leave her relationship behind.<\/p>\n<p>Nixon even thinks Che and Miranda&#8217;s romance is similar to when Carrie and Mr. Big (<strong>Chris Noth<\/strong>) were on and off in the original <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/sex-and-the-city-locations\/\"><em>Sex and the City<\/em><\/a> series.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It reminds me very much of Carrie and some of her most seminal moments of being in love with Mr. Big and trying to make herself be in love with <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/why-wasnt-aiden-featured-and-just-like-that\/\">Aidan but having an affair<\/a>,&#8221; the actress stated. &#8220;Like I was saying before, a feminist show shouldn&#8217;t be agitprop, it shouldn&#8217;t be propaganda showing women as these sensible, wise, kind, attractive people.
