We definitely do after seeing the elegant styles from the new J.Lo Marry Me x GUESS collection,<\/a> inspired by the new Valentine’s Day film\u00a0released in theaters on Friday, February 11 \u2014 also\u00a0available for streaming on Peacock<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Marry Me,<\/em><\/a>\u00a0directed by Kat Coiro<\/strong>, tells the story of pop superstar Kat Valdez <\/strong>\u2014 played by Jennifer Lopez<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 capturing her chaotic adventures finding true love in a social-media dominated society. Minutes before marrying her fianc\u00e9 and duet partner, Bastian<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 played by Columbian singer\u00a0Maluma<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 the music icon found out her soon-to-be husband had been cheating on her. During this horrific moment, the stunning star locked eyes with a fan named Charlie Gilbert<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 played by\u00a0Owen Wilson<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2014 and decided to marry him instantly.<\/p>\n

Throughout the rom-com, Kat Valdez<\/strong> embodied many similarities to J.Lo’s own career and life. The international music star even shot a commercial for GUESS,<\/a>\u00a0that later appeared as a taxi advertisement. Costume designer\u00a0Caroline Duncan<\/strong>\u00a0was inspired by the 52-year-old actress’ time as the actual face of\u00a0the global lifestyle brand,<\/a> for Valdez’ look in this scene.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
