In 2019, she starred in the fabulous <em>Hustlers<\/em>, which was based on a<em> New York Magazine<\/em> story by journalist Jessica Pressler, who also wrote a <em>New York Magazine <\/em>feature about it-girl con artist Anna Sorokin, which has now been made into the Netflix series <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/anna-delvey-julia-garner-netflix-trailer\/\"><em>Inventing Anna<\/em><\/a>, which <em>also<\/em> premieres this week! It\u2019s all connected!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Inventing Anna | Official Trailer | Netflix\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/65xa8TG2G8o?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Inventing Anna<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Based on Jessica Pressler\u2019s 2018 <em>New York Magazine<\/em> story, this limited series created and executive produced by <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/queen-charlotte-bridgerton\/\">Shonda Rhimes<\/a> explores how Anna Sorokin (<a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/julia-garner-critics-choice-awards-beauty\/\">Julia Garner<\/a>) invented the persona of \u201cAnna Delvey\u201d and conned New York\u2019s elite out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. A previous Pressler story was the basis for 2019\u2019s <em>Hustlers<\/em>, so this should be fantastic. Branagh reprises his role as creatively mustachioed Detective Hercule Poirot who must investigate a murder on an Egyptian pleasure cruise. Annette Bening, <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/gal-gadot-tiffany-jewels-loewe-gown\/\">Gal Gadot<\/a>, Russell Brand, Letitia Wright, <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/and-just-like-that-carrie-joker-ab-fab\/\">Jennifer Saunders<\/a> and Dawn French round out the star-studded cast of suspects. JLo stars as pop star Kat Valdez, whose relationship with fellow celebrity Bastian (Maluma) falls apart in front of a live audience of millions. Rocked by the experience, she impulsively picks a face out of the crowd\u2014high school teacher Charlie (Owen Wilson)\u2014and marries him on the spot, dragging him into the spotlight along with her. Peacock\u2019s <em>Bel-Air<\/em> reimagines the classic \u201990s sitcom as an hour-long drama set in contemporary America. The basic premise remains the same: young Will (Jabari Banks) moves from West Philadelphia to L.A.\u2019s exclusive Bel-Air neighborhood. But the new show promises to replace the breezy jokes with a deeper dive into \u201cinherent conflicts, emotions and biases,\u201d that the original couldn\u2019t fully explore. And of course, the political is always personal.
