I’d call it a long, and winding road, but And Just Like That<\/em> was definitely more of a rollercoaster ride than anything else. With its style moments ranging from spectacular to confusing, the outrageous get-ups always somehow make sense for our beloved set of characters in the end. As we say goodbye to season 1, costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago<\/a> have made the finale a fashionable treat.<\/p>\n

With opulent ensembles fit for a second date, brunch with the girls, lunch with an in-law, meeting your new partner’s family, a surprise wedding, a they-mitzvah, and scattering your dead husband’s ashes, this season’s finale was chalk full of outfits that deserve another look.<\/p>\n

After the unison puke date, an awkward fundraiser exchange, and then showing up just to let him down, Carrie and Peter finally give their second date a second chance. For their meet-up, Carrie chose a peachy pink floral maxi dress with a bold taffeta pink blazer and Paco Rabanne sparkly mini bag. Feeling guilt after giving poor Peter a good-night smooch, Carrie begins to think Mr. Big is sending her messages through her lamp.<\/p>\n

A classic brunch with gang, Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda meet up for a bite and a chat to discuss everything from the great beyond, first kisses, light fixtures, and trans rabbis. Sporting a mix and match military green striped suit, Carrie gives her look the quintessential Bradshaw flair with her hot pink Saint Laurent rose-adorned “Ivy” sandals.<\/p>\n

Quite possibly my favorite pairing on the show, Carrie and Jackie sit with the fact that they no longer have a podcast. Deciding not to be site-specific friends, Carrie and Jackie the “fashion god” make plans for his Friday night party. Rocking a monochromatic ivory ensemble, Carrie’s creamy 1980s vintage London Fog raincoat, coordinating button-down and skirt contrasts with her black and silver accessories perfectly. Carrying a Sonia Rykiel \u201cDomino\u201d bag, the former sex columnist struts down the street in Isabel Marant \u201cPrasy\u201d pumps.<\/p>\n

Killing it again with the luxe bronze tones, our new bestie Seema considers if she really likes the chain-smoking, nightclub owning beefcake<\/a> she’s been shacking up with. Throughout this whole series, all I can say is that this glamorous woman knows. her. color. palette. <\/em>Always donning chocolatey tones and silky, shimmering neutrals, Seema knocks it out of the park in the fashion department every time.<\/p>\n

In one of the most talked about and highly-anticipated looks from the series, Carrie’s eye-catching monochromatic cerulean blue suit dress and matching croc bucket bag serve as the look she chooses to face Big’s brother for the first time since her husband’s funeral. Offering Carrie a place in their family burial plot, Richard inquires as to where Carrie intends to scatter Big’s ashes or dub his final resting place, nearly a year after his death.<\/p>\n

Hearing Big’s voice in her head as she watches the loving scene before her, Carrie’s mind flashes to Paris and knows that is where Big would want to be.<\/p>\n

The undisputed best dressed guest at Rock’s they-mitzvah, LTW strolls in wearing a beautiful baby blue trench coat and a Maryjane Claverol Malibu rainbow bedazzled turban.<\/p>\n

After Rock insists that they don’t wish to be they-mitzvah’ed attempting to refrain from being categorized, Charlotte has a mini-meltdown to LTW. After she insists that someone<\/em> is going to have a they-mitzvah today, Charlotte finds herself reading the lines and participating, all while wearing a soft coral silk A-line dress.<\/p>\n

Traveling to Paris to scatter Big’s ashes once and for all, Carrie certainly dressed for the occasion. Finding some peace in couture, Carrie dons a bold orange voluminous Valentino gown and hot pink leather opera gloves. Unloading Big’s remains from her Timmy Woods Eiffel Tower bag, Carrie finds solace in texting Samantha and setting up a date for drinks.<\/p>\n
