The 10-episode Sex and the City<\/em> revival, And Just Like That<\/em><\/a>, has come to an end<\/a>. We laughed, we cried, we might have furrowed our brows in confusion at times, but there’s no denying the show gave us all something to talk about for the past three months. Whether the topics ranged from blast from the past outfits<\/a>, to dyeing gray hair<\/a>, the characters had viewers discussing their fashion and beauty (good and bad), which is part of what made the original series so beloved.<\/p>\n

While we’re going to have to find a new show to occupy our Thursdays (read up on new must-see TV here<\/a>), we’re taking one last trip down the outfit rabbit hole, and recapping the most talked-about looks of the season. Love them or hate them, these are the outfits we here at GRAZIA USA still<\/em> can’t stop talking about.<\/p>\n

Carrie’s Eiffel Tower Urn<\/h2>\n

Colleen Kratofil, Senior Style Editor<\/strong><\/em>:\u00a0At first I didn’t think anything could upstage the voluminous Valentino creation Carrie wore to scatter Big’s ashes into the Seine in Paris. But once I saw that she was carrying his remains in an Eiffel Tower handbag that first made an appearance in the 2008 film, I couldn’t stop thinking about how absolutely Carrie<\/em> that choice was. Whether you think they’re high-fashion or a little too wacky, Carrie’s outfits always have an unexpected, quickly styling element that makes it so uniquely her, and to choose a themed bag that was so on-the-noise was very true to her style aesthetic.<\/p>\n

Colleen Kratofil, Senior Style Editor<\/strong><\/em>:\u00a0LTW arrived in Brooklyn (in a stretch limo, no less!) to chip in and help paint the women’s shelter<\/a> in a full runway look from Moschino’s Fall\/Winter 2021 collection<\/a>. She wore the brand’s “Safari Essential Kit” jacket that brought a slight utilitarian aesthetic, but with pockets full of makeup brushes, she was more equipped to handle a style emergency rather than get down and dirty. Even though she was armed for a different kind of task, I loved her take on the cool-casual looks everyone chose for their day in Brooklyn. It was over-the-top and high-fashion, the two greatest qualities of a standout look.<\/p>\n

Lisette’s Bra and Underwear Moment<\/h2>\n

Colleen Kratofil, Senior Style Editor<\/strong><\/em>: Not even Lisette’s quilted Off-White slouchy boots<\/a> could distract me from the fact that she left the house in nothing more than a bralette and underwear under her sheer floral-print dress. It was such a stark contrast when she ran into Carrie covered up in her smoking-while-walking-around-the-block outfit<\/a> to keep herself from smelling like smoke. But after giving it some thought, (see? I really<\/em> can’t stop thinking about these looks) Lisette’s get-up reminded me of something Carrie would have worn on a hot summer day in the original Sex and the City<\/em> series. It was a fitting touch that another fashionable gal about town also calls the brownstone apartment building home.<\/p>\n

Carrie’s Smoking Outfit<\/h2>\n

Hannah Militano, Style Writer<\/strong><\/em>: When the paparazzi photos of the And Just Like That<\/em> cast filming first surfaced this Autumn, these particular shots of Carrie really had people wondering what the storyline behind this look could be. Has she completely lost her mind cooped-up in quarantine? What, exactly, is going on? In episode 8 <\/a>Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered<\/a>,<\/em> Carrie explains that she cannot stand the smell of cigarette smoke in her apartment, in her hair, or on her clothes, or else she’ll backslide into smoking regularly. Allowing herself one cigarette each day on a walk around the block, Bradshaw dons a pink and white gingham Batsheva \u201cSnap\u201d house dress, haphazardly unbuckled white Mary-Jane heels, a navy zip-up hoodie, handkerchief, pink dish gloves, and Jimmy Choo \u201cJezebel\u201d sunglasses in an attempt to protect herself from the tempting smell of tobacco and nicotine.
