The leading material sciences company and global producer of post-consumer waste cotton fiber, Recover<\/a>TM<\/sup><\/a>,<\/a> has worked together with the premium denim brand, DL1961<\/a>, to come up with the world’s very first sustainable high-performance jean.<\/p>\n

The use of recycled fibers, water and solar energy has aided in creating an eco-friendly jean that exceeds all expectations<\/a>. The RecoverTM<\/sup> sustainable denim collection is made from breaking down pre-owned clothing and weaving them together with the addition of eco-friendly tech fibers, such as Tencel or Reprive (a recycled polyester stretch fiber). The material is then manufactured using recycled water and solar energy, resulting in a top-notch, sustainable pair of jeans.<\/p>\n

Aside from its environmentally friendly fabric, DL1961 Denim’s latest collection also outperforms any other denim on the market in terms of its fit and function \u2014 making it a triple threat across all areas of importance.<\/p>\n

Supermodel <\/span>Candice Swanepoel, who is also a leading philanthropist and the founder of the eco lifestyle brand Tropic of C, has joined this collaboration as the star of their campaign. <\/span>“As a CEO and founder of her own fashion brand, Candice understands the importance of sustainable fashion.
