During season 2 of Euphoria<\/em><\/a>, Fezco (played by Angus Cloud<\/strong>) and Lexi (Maude Apatow<\/strong><\/a>) hang out at a New Year’s Eve party where they get to know each other a bit more. Of course, fans loved the random pairing \u2014 and so does Cloud!<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember there was a moment where [creator Sam Levinson] spoke to both of us and was like, \u2018Yeah, it might be a little thing with Lexi and Fezco<\/a>,\u2019\u201d the 23-year-old recalled to Bustle<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWe were like, \u2018All right, let’s get it.\u2019 We were already friends and s**t, so we were just like, ‘It\u2019s lit.'”<\/p>\n

Luckily, Apatow loved the plot point as well<\/a>. “We had chemistry as friends right away in real life, which I bet is part of the reason Sam thought we would connect on screen,” she shared.<\/p>\n

Though it may be unlikely for a theater geek and drug dealer to fall in love, Cloud had a simple answer as to why they work.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s pretty, she\u2019s smart, she\u2019s kind,\u201d he said. \u201cI don’t think he got a \u2018type.\u2019 He got a type for pretty, nice, and smart.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Additionally, Cloud, who is known for being a tough guy in the series, gets to show another side to him. \u201cWhat might be surprising about Angus is that, on the show, he can have kind of a hard exterior<\/a>, but he\u2019s actually the sweetest guy. So kind. So thoughtful,\u201d Apatow gushed.<\/p>\n

“I love working with Maude \u2014 she\u2019s the best. We always had a great time whenever we get to work together. She\u2019s hilarious. She cracks me up. Maude helps with that for sure,” he said of being vulnerable in some scenes. “You gotta feel safe and comfortable to sort of open up. I always feel like that around her, so it\u2019s not too difficult<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

Another exciting part about working on the HBO Max<\/a> hit series is that Cloud also gets to work with veterans such as Eric Dane<\/strong>, who plays Nate’s father, Cal.<\/p>\n

During one of the episodes, Cal walks into Fez’s gas station store with a gun, but he ultimately leaves him alone. Later on, Fez’s brother, Ashtray, finds Cal outside of their home and brings him in for questioning.<\/p>\n

“I love working with Eric, man. He\u2019s f**king hilarious. It\u2019s cool to work with him because he\u2019s been in the business for so long and, you know, I haven\u2019t,” he stated. “It\u2019s cool to see that even if you are in this as long as he has been, you still have some of those same struggles that I\u2019m dealing with as a new actor and whatnot. [Like] I\u2019m not the only one going through that or whatever, you know what I\u2019m saying?
