Episode 7 of And Just Like That<\/em><\/a> begins with the passing of time as Carrie Bradshaw whips out a new book detailing her tragic loss of Big- proving that she is, in fact, still a writer<\/a>. In Sex and the Widow, <\/em>Carrie\u2019s editor suggests she sprinkle a bit of optimism in the epilogue- a \u201cglimmer of hope.\u201d \u00a0When our protagonist is tasked with a mandate to date a man, we get some of the best fashion moments<\/a> to grace our screen since the show\u2019s debut, and some of the oddest twist and turns<\/a> as the plot thickens.<\/p>\n

Advised to go out on a date to \u201cgive the reader an element of hope\u201d after a bit of a depressing read, Carrie is forced to “dip her toe” into the dating pool once again.<\/p>\n

After dinner with the girls, Miranda and Carrie walk arm in arm in muted earth tones while discussing the current state of their sex lives. With Miranda opting for a golden vintage Issy Miyake trench and a printed silk full-length Celine skirt, the reformed-corporate lawyer paired her ensemble with Gianvito Rossi taupe “Poppy” platform sandals. Carrie on the other hand, sports a monochromatic mauve two-piece knit set beneath her matching vintage 1970s silk caftan pleated with colors of fuchsia, army green, gold, and sage sourced from Lofty Vintage boutique. Always one to properly accessorize, her tiny Fendi “Baguette” nano bag and black Gianvito Rossi suede button-up peep-toe booties complete the look.<\/p>\n

Carrie bravely ventures out on her first date since Big’s death in the look we have all been waiting for since photos taken during filming began to leak. Taking the place of the iconic beige “naked dress” of Sex and The City<\/em>, the baby blue Norma Kamali “Diana” one-shoulder ruched jersey dress is quite possibly Bradshaw’s best look of And Just Like That<\/em> to date. Paired with a vintage Max Mara “Glauco” blazer with custom iridescent painted details, and a Paco Rabanne snakeskin clutch, Carrie\u00a0 slipped into a pair of Aquazzura “Tequila” rhinestone silver sandals. The ensemble is almost as unforgettable as the end to Carrie’s date.<\/p>\n

Charlotte’s new bestie and tennis parter Lisa Todd Wexley may have an amazing wardrobe, but her jewelry collection takes center stage. Donning a black brocade floral one-shoulder puff sleeve gown to a silent auction fundraiser, her styling is luckily much better than her microphone skills. Pairing the beautiful dress with statement rings, and an oversized gold bangle, her large golden crab pendant steals the show.<\/p>\n

One always hopes to look put-together when awkwardly running into an ex or a one-time hook up like Che Diaz. Luckily, Miranda was dressed for the occasion in her Altuzzarra “Tippi” gathered print midi dress.<\/p>\n
