If you’ve been following the post-conservatorship<\/a> era of Britney Spears<\/a>, you’ll know that Britney has been quite vocal on Instagram<\/a> about who’s to blame in enabling control and letting censorship persist, and Jamie Lynn Spears<\/a>, her younger sister, has not been spared. But now it looks like Jamie Lynn<\/a> is making her own claims, as she said on\u00a0Good Morning America<\/em> this morning that she “went out of her way” to help Britney acquire the tools to end her conservatorship.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always been my sister\u2019s biggest supporter, so when she needed help, I set up ways to do so,\u201d Jamie Lynn said on Good Morning Americ<\/em>a. \u201cI went out of my way to make sure that she had the contacts she needed to possibly go ahead and end this conservatorship and just end this all for our family.”<\/p>\n

She continued “If it\u2019s going to cause this much discord, why continue it?\u201d<\/p>\n

Jamie Lynn went on to share that she was in conversation with Britney’s lawyer, Samuel D. Ingham III, whom a Los Angeles judge appointed when Britney underwent hospitalization on an involuntary psychiatric hold in February 2008, right when the conservatorship commenced.<\/p>\n
