Following Internet’s new favorite couple, Ye and Julia Fox having social media in a frenzy with their oh-so adorable date night\u2014dressed in no other than Balenciaga and announcing the headline-breaking Yeezy Gap<\/a> partnership last week, creative director Demna Gvasli<\/a> (now known simply as Demna) is on a roll. His latest move that’s grasped our attention comes in the form of a new sneaker drop.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today Balenciaga released the Phantom sneaker as a part of its city series, which includes a wide arrange of city-specific pieces for Paris, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, and more. The sneaker itself is sleek and minimal design but packs a big statement, peruse of any Balenciaga sneaker. The silhouette is inspired by a vintage running shoe but features a perforated upper and a sleek midsole giving it the Demna Balenciaga treatment. Balenciaga offers the Phantom sneaker in various colors, from neon yellow, muted pink to the staple black, white, and grey.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The campaign features some of London’s most fashionable commuters sporting head-to-toe looks topped with the sneakers as they ride the London underground to bring the collection to life\u2014almost making us miss the days of our morning commutes.
