You may remember this past Fall, we were all over oversized blazers<\/a> \u2014 specifically Hailey Bieber<\/a>‘s layering and autumnal aesthetic choice of blazer upon blazer for every streetwear look. And while we never saw a decline in its popularity, Kendall Jenner<\/a> is now putting her own spin on the formal-meets-casual silhouette while on set for the new Kardashian-Jenner reality show.<\/p>\n

Now I know what you’re thinking, this style is reminiscent of every liberal arts college professor who assigned way too many papers on Byzantine mosaics, but isn’t that an aesthetic that we covet even in the most secret way? It’s an outfit that screams intelligence and formality, but with a pair of jeans that really brings this look into the casual realm, perfect for Los Angeles “winter” which is essentially New York Fall.<\/p>\n

Jenner paired this outfit with a brown handbag, black heeled boots and a olive green manicure that encapsulated all there is to love about earth tones and is a departure away from the vibrant “dopamine dressing<\/a>” trend we’ve been seeing on red carpets left and right.<\/p>\n

This outfit is a lesson in subtlety, not everything needs to be bold and over-the-top to make a statement. Sometimes all you need is a good pair of jeans, a sensible undershirt and a form-defying piece of outerwear to make cohesive and effective outfit that’s worth talking about.<\/p>\n
