While there have been rumblings of a You<\/em> and Emily in Paris<\/em> crossover<\/a>, now fans are convinced that Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall<\/a>) from Sex and the City<\/em><\/a> will make a cameo in season 3 of the Netflix series, if it is renewed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In And Just Like That<\/em> \u2014 HBO Max’s reboot of the original series \u2014 Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker<\/strong><\/a>) reveals that Samantha got a job in London and is no longer based in the United States. During the season 2 finale of Emily in Paris<\/em>, Emily Cooper (Lily Collins<\/strong><\/a>) receives a job offer, meaning that she could stay in the City of Light for longer, and therefore, she could have run-in with Samantha.<\/p>\n

It wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibilities as Darren Star<\/strong> created both shows.<\/p>\n

Some fans believe that Samantha could be Emily’s superior.\u00a0\u201cIt would be deeply chaotic and entertaining if Darren Star hires Kim Cattrall to be Emily In Paris\u2019s boss named Samantha in an upcoming season,\u201d\u00a0they said.<\/p>\n

Since Emily’s new love interest Alfie (Lucien Laviscount<\/strong><\/a>) is moving back to London and wants to try a long-distance relationship with the marketing guru, maybe Emily and Samantha just so happen to run into one another in London.<\/p>\n

Adding fuel to the fire, in September, Cattrall shared a photo of herself with Patricia Field<\/strong><\/a>, who is the costume designer on Emily in Paris<\/em>.<\/p>\n
