During season 2 of Emily in Paris<\/em><\/a>, viewers got to learn more about several characters, including Camille (played by Camille Razat<\/strong>). This time around, the blonde beauty \u2014 who was dating chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo<\/strong><\/a>) during season 1 until they split during the finale \u2014 finds out that her ex and bestie Emily Cooper (Lily Collins<\/strong><\/a>) have been hooking up behind her back.<\/p>\n

At Emily’s dinner party, Camille puts the pieces together, gives a nasty toast and storms off after learning the truth. Later on, her mother tells her to make amends so that she can win Gabriel back.<\/p>\n

Last season, Camille loved having fun and was carefree, but in the new episodes, she is a little bit more serious \u2014 and her outfit choices<\/a> made her the star of the show.<\/p>\n

“There has been a direct correlation between the way Camille dresses and asserts herself. In her attitude, she is more complex. Moreover, we understand it better,” Razat explained to L’OFFICIEL<\/a>.<\/i> “She’s not just nice or there to help everyone. His fashion translates this change well with significant looks: big shoulders, shapes that are visible, very present materials. This trend in fashion is totally a reflection of the evolution of the character<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

As for which look she gravitated toward the most, she said, “I have to admit that the black Saint Laurent dress that I am seen wearing is just amazing. Its frame, its suggestive neckline \u2014 all without being vulgar.”<\/p>\n

Razat said she was intrigued when events unfolded this season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I had absolutely no idea that the plot would take this direction. I was both very surprised and happy to play scenes that I did not expect. I really thank the authors and the production for giving me the opportunity to express myself a little more through this season 2. To have been able to go into more detail<\/a> about who Camille is, to understand her complexity, her multiple facets rather than locking it into a somewhat slick image,” she said.<\/p>\n

After playing Camille for two seasons, the France native admitted that her character has taught her a lot \u2014 especially when it comes to her own style.<\/p>\n

“Since I play in Emily in Paris<\/i>, I put on dresses<\/a>!” she expressed. “Before I never put them on, I didn’t know how to handle them, I didn’t find them comfortable. I liked to play with a more masculine side. Now, and thanks to the character of Camille, I have become more feminine. And also, I smile a lot more! With the difficult period we are all going through, keeping a smile and being able to pass it on to others seems very important to
