In a fashion collaboration like no other<\/a>, Zendaya Coleman<\/a> and renowned celebrity stylist Law Roach<\/a> have had us by our throats all year. With a list of projects a mile long, Zendaya<\/a> has been a busy bee, stepping out in the most head-turning ensembles throughout 2021. With three major motion pictures, multiple high-end campaigns, a buzzy new relationship<\/a>, and the upcoming release of the sophomore season of her hit series Euphoria<\/a>, Zendaya<\/a> has been the talk of the town.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hot off the heels of her historic Emmy win<\/a>, Zendaya<\/a> started the year off with a bang with the release of Sam Levinson\u2019s <\/span>Malcolm and Marie<\/a>. <\/span><\/i>Predominantly seen in <\/span>that<\/span><\/i> custom liquid silver silk <\/span>lam\u00e9 cut-out gown<\/span><\/a>, costume designer Law Roach tapped Ali\u00e9tte\u2019s creative director Jason Rembert<\/a> for the titular gown, proving once again that Roach\u2019s creative relationship with the actress knows no bounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Having acted as her image architect for the last ten years, the fruits of their labor were officially recognized and celebrated by the CFDA<\/a>, having granted Zendaya<\/a> the Fashion Icon Award this year. As the youngest recipient in the council\u2019s history, the star donned a striking red Vera Wang ensemble stating, \u201cFashion did something special for me. It gave me the extraordinary gift of transformation, the ability to become and embody all of these different characters and be literally anyone I wanted to be. Thankfully, when I was 14 I found my co-director of sorts. One who saw what I did and sometimes, more than I ever could have imagined on my own- that being Law Roach. My fashion soulmate, historian, and constant inspiration, thank you for pushing me to see all of myself and teaching me how to do so fearlessly. Every time we get dressed, we treat it like a film. We bring to life a new protagonist, one with their own narrative, their own backstory, their own personality, so that the shy little girl in me can live out all the things I dream through them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

With evocative style moments throughout the <\/span>Dune<\/span><\/i><\/a> and <\/span>Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/span><\/i><\/a> press junkets, certain looks left an indelible mark, sending the internet into a frenzy. With her archival Versace tribute to Beyonc\u00e9 for the the BET Awards<\/a>, or with her Loewe dress so fresh off the runway, many theorized it was still warm from the model, Zendaya has been a hot topic to say the least. <\/span><\/p>\n
