In the latest episode of And Just Like That<\/em><\/a>, viewers got to witness Carrie Bradshaw<\/a> (Sarah Jessica Parker<\/strong>) and Mr. Big’s ex Natasha Naginsky (Bridget Moynahan<\/strong>) come face to face after all these years.<\/p>\n

After learning that Big \u2014 who died from a heart attack after working out on his Peloton \u2014 left his ex a hefty sum of money, Carrie tracks her down as she wants to know if they have been in touch<\/a>. She then spirals out of control, thinking of the worst scenarios in her head, and after trying to get a meeting with Natasha, she is turned down.<\/p>\n

At a random coffee shop on the Upper West Side, Carrie walks in on Natasha in the bathroom and ends up spilling a very hot drink on herself. The encounter was awkward, to say the least, but it seems like Natasha had no idea why Big would leave her money \u2014 especially since they hadn’t spoken in quite some time.<\/p>\n

So, will viewers get to witness more cringey moments going forward<\/a>? Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem likely.<\/p>\n

“I wish it was more left open, but I don\u2019t see that they go back to that,” the Blue Bloods<\/em> star told Elle<\/em><\/a> magazine. “Nobody\u2019s expressed anything. It felt like a nice closure, but it wasn\u2019t so final as a heart attack. If they wanted to bring something back, they certainly could. I\u2019m just plugging away at Blue Bloods\u00a0<\/em>for now. We\u2019re in season 12, so we\u2019ll wrap that up and hopefully they\u2019ll bring us on for a lucky 13.”<\/p>\n

While some may still be upset that Big is no longer in the picture (RIP), the brunette beauty believes his death “made sense.”<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s part of life \u2014 it\u2019s part of the lives of women and men of a certain age. It\u2019s what\u2019s happening. To me, it was like, ‘OK, this is the way that they\u2019re jumping into it, ripping off the Band-Aid.’ Good for them [for] being bold and being real<\/a>,” she shared. “I\u2019m seeing friends of mine have real emotional, grieving responses to the first two episodes. Like, sobbing. These characters have been part of people\u2019s lives for so long and they have really gotten invested in the characters\u2019 lives; they are grieving for someone they feel like they have known.”<\/p>\n

It’s no secret that Carrie and Natasha have some bad blood \u2014 she walked in on them having an affair, after all \u2014 but Moynahan is happy to see that her character “has moved on and has the life that she probably had imagined that she and Big would\u2019ve been having: getting married, having kids, having the kids in private schools, going to the Hamptons, whatever that fantasy was for her, she\u2019s created it with somebody who does love, honor, and respect her,” she said.<\/p>\n

She added, “For her to be able to recognize that it wasn\u2019t all Carrie\u2019s fault \u2014 Big loved Carrie, he always was in love with Carrie \u2014 for her to say that to Carrie and say it out loud feels like a nice close for them<\/a>.”<\/p>\n
