Stay home, but make it chic \u2014 or go out, but make it comfortable. That’s essentially the message behind the first drop of Culpos x INC<\/a>, a new fashion line by former Miss USA Olivia Culpo<\/a> and sisters Sophia and Aurora.<\/p>\n

Available exclusively at Macy’s, the collection consists of versatile wardrobe essentials like jumpsuits, matching sets, and casual-cool dresses. The pieces were designed by the siblings, who aren’t afraid to admit that they have very<\/em> different tastes when it comes to fashion. Nevertheless, they were all able to agree on their first drop, which dropped on Tuesday, October 27.<\/p>\n

The COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on the Culpos x INC design process. The siblings are looking forward to launching more complex pieces in the future, but the first drop is exactly what the world needs right now: cozy ensembles that make us look and feel like we’re put together, even when we’re sure-as-hell not. Enter, jogger sets that look just as good with heels as they do with slippers, and jumpsuits so comfy, they’re nap-friendly.<\/p>\n

Ahead, the Culpo sisters chatted with Grazia USA about the newly launched collection.<\/p>\n

Grazia USA:\u00a0<\/strong>How long has your collection been in the works?<\/p>\n

Olivia Culpo: <\/strong>We’ve always planned on working with each other at some point, this just happened to be the perfect timing for us to do something together. We started working on this well before last March and then, of course, COVID happened, the quarantine happened, and everything was pushed back. Our design plans were completely altered because we realized we wanted to create things that were suited for staying at home. That’s why you’ll notice in the October 27 drop that there are a lot of things that are loungewear-inspired, or just cozy things that can be styled in multiple ways \u2014 dressed up or dressed down.<\/p>\n

Grazia USA: <\/strong>Cozy, but so chic!<\/p>\n

Olivia Culpo:<\/strong> Thank you!<\/p>\n

Grazia USA: <\/strong>Would you say you all have a similar taste in fashion?<\/p>\n

In Unison:<\/strong> No!<\/p>\n

Olivia Culpo: <\/strong>Our styles are all very different. I would say Aurora is a little more boho. My style is more glam slash posh-inspired. Sophie’s is more streetwear and athleisure-inspired, I would say.<\/p>\n

Grazia USA:\u00a0<\/strong>So knowing you all have different tastes, how was it designing and dreaming up a collection together?<\/p>\n

Aurora Culpo: <\/strong>We disagreed on certain pieces, but in the end, we all put our stamp on each piece. It was important to us to make sure that each piece can be paired with different accessories to bring someone’s personal style to the forefront.<\/p>\n

Sophia Culpo: <\/strong>There are definitely pieces that we each weren’t crazy about, but we also each have our favorites. It’s also expanded my own personal style, seeing how my sisters take these pieces and make it their own. I’m learning about my own style from this collection.<\/p>\n

Aurora Culpo:<\/strong> Yesterday, Sophie paired a long dress with a visor and sneakers and I was like ‘oh, no, no.’ I would personally not do that. She made it work, but she’s the Gen X style. I’m older than Olivia and my style’s more mom-ish, so it’s just cool to see how you can use these pieces in different ways.<\/p>\n

“One of my favorites is the jogger set with sequin fringe details on the shoulder and shoulder pads. It’s super comfortable but it’s great for the holidays or dressing up for anything. It’s my personal favorite and definitely represents more of my glam type of style.”<\/p>\n

Sophia Culpo<\/h4>\n

“My favorite from this October drop is definitely the jumpsuit that’s off-the-shoulder and has thumb holes. It’s so comfortable. I travel in it and then I pair it with heels to dress it up into something you can go get dinner in and go on a date in. But then also pair it with sneakers to literally cozy up on an airplane and go sleep in.”<\/p>\n

“My favorite is the long-sleeved sweatshirt dress. I like it because it’s short, but you can wear tights under it, you can wear high boots, you can wear sneakers. It also has these cool shoulder pads in it.”<\/p>\n
