No, it’s not a simulation. From Keanu Reeves<\/a> to Priyanka Chopra<\/a>, stars gathered for the forthcoming release of the latest in the Matrix<\/em> film franchise, The Matrix Resurrections <\/em>on Saturday evening after about 18 years without a new installment. Set to be released on December 22nd, recurring stars brought their A-game to the red carpet (actually, green carpet),\u00a0when it came to futuristic fashion, as did newcomers to the iconic project.<\/p>\n

With Jada Pinkett-Smith in Giambattista Valli<\/a> and Anok Yai<\/a> in Jawaya Alleyne, the two made references to the “little red pill” in bold fire engine red ensembles. Priyanka Chopra was a glimmering vision in Halpern while Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s Bottega Veneta<\/a> get-up captured the vision of the Matrix so well, it could have doubled as an actual costume featured in the film. While everyone put their best dressed foot forward, the undisputed winner of the night was Matrix<\/em> star Carrie-Anne Moss in a “digital rain” embroidered Oscar de la Renta<\/a> gown.<\/p>\n
