The admission comes after Nichols, who gave birth to a baby boy last week, sued Thompson for child support, saying the pair conceived a child together in March.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In court documents published by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10310275\/Tristan-Thompson-admits-hooking-baby-mama-Maralee-Nichols-MONTHS.html\" target=\"_blank\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Daily Mail<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Thompson wrote he and Nichols did\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;not have a serious ongoing relationship&#8221; as she claims, but rather had sex sporadically between December 2020 and March 13, 2021. Thompson added, the two \u201cdid not have sexual intercourse in California during that time.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In his filing, Thompson said he met Nichols in &#8220;late November\/early December 2020 at someone&#8217;s home&#8221; and that she did come to his house in California &#8220;on maybe two occasions during that time.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;[Nichols] constantly used the term &#8216;hook up&#8217; to describe our relationship which was the reality,&#8221; Thompson said. &#8220;I am certain that if the child is deemed to be my child that the only date of conception was March 13, 2021, because it was my birthday.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He continued, &#8220;Our relationship was based on sex. We would not have seen each other in Houston if we were not going to have sex. We did not have any dates in the traditional sense at any time; there were no dining at restaurants, going to movies, travelling or any other indicia of a normal relationship. adding their only form of communication was through Snapchat, where messages disappear once sent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We used Snapchat to communicate to protect our privacy. After a Snapchat message, the message is automatically deleted. If either one of us would do something to try and save the message, the other party would be notified. I was never notified that [Nichols] saved a message from me.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thompson denies sending messages asking Nichols to have an abortion and saying he plans on retiring from the NBA, so she won\u2019t get much money in child support. &#8220;[Nichols] has attached to her papers many Snapchat messages which she claims are &#8216;real&#8217; and represent &#8216;real&#8217; communications between us. However, I strongly content that these messages have been fabricated by [Nichols],&#8221; he stated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the time that Thompson admits to having a sexual relationship with Nichols, he was publicly dating Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian, with whom he shares 3-year-old daughter True.
