In the lead up to her highly-anticipated appearance in The Crown,\u00a0<\/em>Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki<\/a> has been honored as the latest ambassador of Dior<\/a>. The Tenet\u00a0<\/em>star follows in the footsteps of Cara Delevingne and will front the Houses’s joaillerie <\/em>collection, Rose Dior. The 31-year-old is the first Australian to face Dior.<\/p>\n

Designed by Victoire de Castellane and comprised of four collections showcasing the Dior flower par excellence, Rose Dior (and Debicki who embodies the brand values) are a reflection of pluralistic femininity.<\/p>\n

She joins a universe of A-list Dior ambassadors including Yara Shahidi<\/a>, Natalie Portman and Anya Taylor-Joy<\/a>. More recently, 18-year-old tennis star Emma Raducanu was named as a new Dior ambassador with her appearance spanning across fashion and beauty.<\/p>\n

Debicki will take over the role of Princess Diana from Emma Corrin in the forthcoming season of\u00a0The Crown.\u00a0<\/em>Filming is well underway for the fifth instalment which will navigate the late years of her life. In early November, we were treated with a sneak peek of Debicki’s portrayal in the famed “revenge dress”.<\/a><\/p>\n

Upon announcement of the role, Debicki released a statement to pay tribute to the late Princess. \u201cPrincess Diana\u2019s spirit, her words and her actions live in the hearts of so many,\u201d Debicki said in August 2020. \u201cIt is my true privilege and honor to be joining this masterful series, which has had me absolutely hooked from episode one.\u201d<\/p>\n
