As we get closer and closer to the premiere of the <\/span>Sex and the City<\/span><\/i> reboot, <\/span>And Just Like That\u2026<\/a>, <\/span><\/i>anticipation is building for how the show will portray Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte years on from where the show, then two movies, left them. Moreover, fans are wondering how the narrative will portray the absence of Samantha<\/a>, following Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker\u2019s very public feud, in which Cattrall said she wouldn\u2019t return to the show due to Parker\u2019s bullying behavior.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, Chris Noth, the actor best known for his role as Carrie’s on-again, off-again boyfriend and later husband Mr Big, has added his two cents, saying he doesn\u2019t recognize Cattrall\u2019s description of Parker<\/a>, which included that she is a \u201chypocrite” and “cruel” when SJP posted a condolence note following the death of her brother.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to<\/span> The Guardian<\/span><\/i><\/a> ahead of premiere episode of And Just Like That\u2026<\/em> (airing December 9th), Noth said, “I have to tell you, I have absolutely no idea what her thinking is, or her emotions. I do know that I\u2019m very close with SJ and [Kim\u2019s] descriptions of her don\u2019t even come close.”<\/span><\/p>\n

He then added that he was sad the fallout ever occurred and moreover, that it happened so publicly. “I liked her [Kim], I thought she was marvellous in the show and some people move on for their own reasons. I don\u2019t know what hers were. I just wish that whole thing had never happened because it was sad and uncomfortable.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“I just don\u2019t like to see anyone talking down about SJ because she\u2019s a target and people can be nasty,\u201d he added. \u201cI feel very protective of her and I was not happy about that. That\u2019s all I\u2019ll say about that.”<\/span><\/p>\n

During the interview, Noth also discussed how a lot of the cast didn’t realize that Willie Garson, who played Stanford Blatch on the show, and who sadly died of cancer earlier this year, was unwell. “Most of us didn\u2019t know [that he was ill]. The last time I saw him was on set and I kick myself because I didn\u2019t really get a chance to talk to him,” he said. “He was extraordinarily fun and funny and there\u2019s nothing to say but that it’s heartbreaking. It’s sad for everyone, and for the show, because I think he was going to have a really huge storyline.
