Taking place at Old Billingsgate in London, the event saw standout style moments from Kate Beckinsale<\/a>, The Morning Show<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Gugu Mbatha-Raw<\/a>, and The Crown<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Emma Corrin<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Integrating some of the most well-known and prominent faces in British film with burgeoning fresh faces, the awards have been working towards highlighting the full bandwidth of talent in British cinema. Mirroring that concept, the red carpet saw a <\/span>blend of classic glamour and unanticipated contemporary designs, melding the new with the old, both exuding peak luxury nonetheless.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Attending as a presenter, Beckinsale walked the red carpet in a crisp alabaster column gown with tailored beaded sleeves and a cascading structural cape detail by designer Jenny Packham<\/a>. Also presenting, Gugu Mbatha-Raw<\/a> was a vision in a muted beige sequined Galvan London gown, evoking an effortless glamour and a quiet elegance. In keeping with her typically quirky style, actress Emma Corrin<\/a>‘s BIFA red carpet appearance comes as no surprise. <\/span>Donning a custom wisteria matching set from Brazilian designer Marco Ribeiro, the rising star color blocked the look with a bold royal blue collared top beneath. With its bright colors and Corrin<\/a>‘s new bleached bob, the actress most certainly made a strong sartorial statement with the help of stylist Harry Lambert<\/a>.
