We&#8217;ve seen lubricant highlighter, reverse cat eyes, &#8216;instant facelift&#8217; concealer&#8230; you name it, and it probably exists on the For You Page.<\/p>\n<p>The latest is freezing your Beauty Blender \u2014 as in your makeup sponge \u2014 for a flawless base. A video (seen below) by Briana Pelaez and stitched from gwmakeup has gone viral. With 3.4 million views and counting, the clip shows her wetting the sponge before placing it in the freezer, where the water causes the usually soft tool to harden. The cooling effect also feels nice, so there&#8217;s that element as well.<\/p>\n<p>Some TikToker&#8217;s also noted that as the blender melted when coming into contact with warm skin, the water was pushed into the skin providing extra hydration, giving it a dewy, ultra luminous finish. The only caveat here would be if you were using an oil-based foundation, where the excess water might cause it to separate.
