In the lead up to her latest film\u00a0Don’t Look Up<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>Jennifer Lawrence<\/a> appeared on the December cover of Vanity Fair<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>In a discussion which ranged from how she would parent her forthcoming child and a nude photo scandal, the actress detailed the life-threatening experience as a passenger on a private plane. According to the\u00a0Hunger Games\u00a0<\/em>alum, she was travelling from her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky to New York City when the plane suffered double engine failure.<\/p>\n

The actress joked that flying private meant she “deserved to die” before she took a more serious tone. \u201cMy skeleton was all that was left in the seat,\u201d Laurence told the publication.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were all just going to die,\u201d she said. \u201cI started leaving little mental voicemails to my family, you know, \u2018I\u2019ve had a great life, I\u2019m sorry.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Per the usual comedic finesse of the actress, she quipped, \u201cI just felt guilty. Everybody was going to be so bummed. And, oh, God, [my dog] Pippi was on my lap, that was the worst part. Here\u2019s this little thing who didn\u2019t ask to be a part of any of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

The jet was forced to make an emergency landing. The jet had apparently hit the runway, bounced, and hit the runway again before coming to a halt. Rescue crews had to pry the doors open. Thankfully no one was harmed.<\/p>\n

During the interview, the 31-year-old discussed the trauma that she experienced when in 2014, hackers leaked naked images of herself and other notable women such as Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez.<\/p>\n

“Anybody can go look at my naked body without my consent, any time of the day,” Lawrence said. “Somebody in France just published them. My trauma will exist forever.”<\/p>\n

Lawrence will star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep and Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a> for the Netflix film,\u00a0Don’t Look Up.\u00a0<\/em>The movie releases on December 24 and follows two astronomers who embark on a press tour to warn the world of an approaching asteroid.<\/p>\n
