Olivia Munn and John Mulaney\u2019s whirlwind relationship has been the topic of much speculation since the comedian left rehab and swiftly announced the end of his marriage with artist Anna Marie Tendler. Shortly afterwards, Mulaney went on to confirm he is not only dating Munn, but expecting his first child with her<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Following all of the drama, Mulaney, who announced the news via an interview with his friend Seth Meyers<\/a>, has incorporated the baby news into his stand-up routine, joking in one performance about getting “mixed reviews” when he tells people he’s having a baby.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the months of gossip, one person stayed silent: Munn. But in a new interview,with the <\/span>Los Angeles Times<\/span><\/i><\/a>, the actress said the rumors and internet gossip that\u2019s been plaguing her personal life of late is nothing new for her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s definitely not foreign for me to have people speculate incorrectly about things and to have rumors run rampant in one way,” she said. “They think they know our relationship so well. When in reality, they don’t. There’s no way anyone could know what any of his relationships were or what our relationship is.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Munn said she hasn\u2019t spoken out to correct any untrue headlines so as not to “feed into a narrative” that’s false.\u00a0<\/span>“If I try to say anything, I run the risk of being called messy or not telling the truth,” she explained. “The only way to win, for me, is to pull back and to not play the game at all.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Munn also addressed Mulaney\u2019s recent standup shows which reference their impending child, saying, “He’s so funny, and he’s so articulate, and he’s so smart. The first time he made that joke, I remember laughing. I’d be with him on the road, and I would hear him tell this joke, and I did feel a sense of healing with it.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s hard to be pregnant for the first time and have anybody say anything besides, like, ‘Congratulations,'” she added.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for the reports that Munn and Mulaney’s relationship was on the rocks<\/a>, sources recently shared the pair’s relationship isn\u2019t over\u2014yet. But it is facing \u201cuncertainty.\u201d As an unnamed person told Us Weekly<\/i><\/a>, \u201cThis has been an imperfect relationship from the start. Olivia\u2019s friends just don\u2019t see these two being a couple in a year\u2019s time.” They added it’s currently unclear whether the two would be parenting their child \u201ctogether or apart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in happier news, Tendler is not only doing okay, but she\u2019s begun a Tik Tok career in which she teaches fans how to do tricks such as how to put a duvet in a duvet cover (while wearing a Phoebe Bridgers tee) and how to perfectly butter cinnamon raisin toast. We love to see it.<\/p>\n
