In the lead up to her long-awaited album\u00a030,\u00a0<\/em>Adele<\/a> has appeared in an intimate conversation with Oprah<\/a>. During the CBS special\u00a0One Night Only\u00a0<\/em>which aired overnight (Australia will have to wait until November 21 to watch the interview on Channel 7), the “Easy On Me” singer discussed the break down of her marriage to entrepreneur, Simon Konecki.<\/p>\n

The artist admitted that the realization her marriage wouldn’t last was during a candid conversation with friends.<\/p>\n

“We were all answering these questions in this very bougie magazine, and it was something like, ‘What’s something that no one would ever know about you?’ And I just said it in front of three of my friends, I was like, ‘I’m really not happy,'” Adele recalled. “‘I’m not living, I’m just plodding along.'”<\/p>\n
