We all remember that viral picture from 2017 of Lady Gaga dressed as a Starbucks Barista pointing sternly at the camera, right? Not much is really known about what was really going down in that photo, but what we do know, for a fact, is that she was wearing Gucci in that moment. You know, just your average Starbucks barista dressed head to toe in Gucci, nothing out of the ordinary here.<\/p>\n

Even before there was House of Gucci<\/a> and Gaga’s Patrizia Reggiani portrayal, the singer has had a long history with the Italian fashion house. Some of her most iconic looks (and there are many, many to consider) have been the product of Gucci’s imagination. But what about some of the more unsung moments that may have flew under the radar?<\/p>\n

As we all know, Gaga has become sort of the queen of New York City streetwear<\/a>. We all subconsciously give a little “yaaaas Gaga” whenever we see new pictures of her in some sort of garment on the streets of Manhattan. It’s indisputable really, what she has done for pop culture over the years.<\/p>\n

So, to celebrate House of Gucci, and to celebrate Lady Gaga, we decided to compile some of our favorite looks of Gaga in Gucci, past and present.<\/p>\n

Let’s throw it way back to 2009<\/h4>\n

For this photoshoot with Philipp Rathmer, Gaga wore a pair of Gucci Spring\/Summer 2009 Ready-to-wear nude and metallic pumps. I mean, talk about a throwback. At this time, we were all still reeling from the “Bad Romance” and “Poker Face” music video.<\/p>\n

And then, 2010 hit, and we all fell in love with Gaga’s male alter-ego, Jo Calderone<\/h4>\n

Talk about a heartthrob! But seriously, when Gaga started channeling her greaser, bad boy Jo Calderone alter-ego, it was a major moment. In this photoshoot with Nick Knight, Gaga pulled from the Gucci Fall\/Winter 2010 ready-to-wear menswear runway. And the rest? History.<\/p>\n

A geometric blazer and velvet jacket in 2012<\/h4>\n

This was at the height of Gaga’s streetwear fame. Every photographer in New York City was itching to get a snap of Gaga out and about. This time around, she pulled a geometric green and gold blazer from Gucci’s Spring\/Summer 2012 ready-to-wear collection.<\/p>\n

But Gaga wasn’t done with just one Gucci look, oh no. What came next was a deep green velvet blazer that amazed on-lookers. She pulled this particular piece from Gucci’s Fall\/Winter 2012 ready-to-wear collection.<\/p>\n

We’ve all seen this picture, but what a lot of people don’t know is that she happens to be wearing head-to-to Gucci in this moment. In particular, she’s wearing pieces from Gucci’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection, including a rose print dress and a pair of nude leather pumps.<\/p>\n
