What could be more extravagant, maximalist and celebratory than an evening celebrating art, fashion and culture with Gucci as the main presenter? Not much. Over the weekend, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art\u2019s (LACMA) tenth annual Art+Film Gala drew to it a stunning array of some big names, with most\u00a0 dressed in the vision of Alessandro Michele’s Gucci. Floral prints, paisleys, extravagant textures\u00a0 and colors ensued for a night of cocktails, music and art. Truly a wonder to be explored.<\/p>\n

The evening proceeded with musical performances by Florence Welch<\/a> and Celeste, who were both dripping in Gucci ensembles for a ground-shattering performance. The event was co-chaired by Eva Chow\u00a0and actor\u00a0Leonardo DiCaprio, for a night celebrating artists\u00a0Amy Sherald\u00a0and\u00a0Kehinde Wiley\u00a0and filmmaker\u00a0Steven Spielberg.<\/p>\n

While the night was opulent and full of looks, the mission of the LACMA gala is what remains most important, “making film more central to the museum\u2019s curatorial programming.” All proceeds from the event went towards this initiative, and for its 100th anniversary, Gucci took the opportunity curate a seemingly unending list of looks to inspire all of our inner aesthete.<\/p>\n
