In a past interview, Justin Bieber<\/a> described the first year of marriage to Hailey Bieber<\/a> as “really tough” due to trust issues and “trauma stuff”<\/a>. In February 2019 – just five months after they tied the knot – the singer also sought out professional treatment for depression and drug use. On the In Good Faith With Chelsea & Judah Smith<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>podcast, the couple have discussed how Hailey supported her husband.<\/p>\n

“I had experienced so many things in my life,” Justin told the outlet. “So many milestones and traveled the world and seen everywhere in the world. And I just got to a place where I was lonely, and I just didn’t want to do it all alone. I realized there was some serious healing I needed to go through in order to get to a place where I could be in a healthy, serious relationship because I had a lot of trauma and scars. So I just committed to working on those things and getting healthy.”<\/p>\n
