Following allegations that Zayn Malik “struck” Yolanda Hadid<\/a> in a domestic dispute last week, the singer has plead “no contest”<\/a> to four charges of harassment against the mother and his ex-partner, Gigi Hadid. Essentially it means a guilty plead without formally admitting guilt. As a result he will be forced to serve 360 days of probation and complete anger management and domestic violence programs. The model was reportedly away when the fight involving her mother took place.<\/p>\n

Malik and Hadid split<\/a> following the incident but according to a new report, the couple were slated to break-up anyways. A source for US Weekly\u00a0<\/em><\/a>told the publication that \u201cit\u2019s much better that they have separated.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGigi and Zayn had a very destructive relationship when they were together romantically.\u201d The insider added, \u201cGigi stands by Zayn\u2019s ability to coparent well.”<\/p>\n
