The Noughties-obsessed<\/a> style set have officially declared the death of the middle part. After a long stint as arguably the most popular style choice, the middle part is finally falling out of favor with the likes of Bella Hadid<\/a> and Dua Lipa<\/a>, who are leading the charge when it comes to reviving forgotten fashion and beauty trends from the 2000s.<\/p>\n

Both stars have swapped their typical middle parts for sweeping side bangs, which were the look du jour\u00a0<\/em>during the Y2K era. Hadid debuted her new side fringe with a slick up-do<\/a> for her birthday last month, only days after Lipa \u2013 who dates Hadid’s younger brother Anwar \u2013 was seen wearing her own hair in a side part with a high ponytail.<\/p>\n

Ariana Grande<\/a> has also been wearing her hair in a similar fashion, updating her signature 60s-esque high ponytail by sweeping the front section of her hair to one side and securing the ends behind one ear.<\/p>\n
