The Queen sends her warmest good wishes to the people of Northern Ireland, and looks forward to visiting in the future.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Thursday, a Palace spokesperson added to the previous statement, updating the public on her majesty&#8217;s health. &#8220;Following medical advice to rest for a few days, The Queen attended hospital on Wednesday afternoon for some preliminary investigations, returning to Windsor Castle at lunchtime today, and remains in good spirits,&#8221; it read.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Text__text___3eVx1j Text__dark-grey___AS2I_p Text__regular___Bh17t- Text__large___1i0u1F Body__base___25kqPt Body__large_body___3g04wK ArticleBody__element___3UrnEs\" data-testid=\"paragraph-5\">The Queen had spent Tuesday night hosting a drinks reception at Windsor for business leaders such as Bill Gates after Prime Minister Boris Johnson convened a green investment conference ahead of the COP26 climate summit. In a piece on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/news\/16511905\/royal-insiders-slam-queen-hospital-stay-complete-picture\/\" target=\"_blank\"><i>The Sun<\/i><\/a>, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BBC<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell, said that the media and the public &#8220;weren\u2019t given the complete picture.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;The problem, it seems to me, is that rumor and misinformation always thrive in the absence of proper, accurate and trustworthy information,&#8221; Witchell said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While some have acknowledged the Queen has rights to privacy, many royal experts pointed out the public interest at play considering her role as head of state. &#8220;The Queen is entitled to privacy on medical matters, but she is our head of state and was in hospital overnight,&#8221; <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Daily Mail <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">royal correspondent Rebecca English tweeted along with a video of Witchell discussing the situation. &#8220;Buckingham Palace\u2019s statement she was resting at Windsor wasn\u2019t true.
