After years of detailed nail art, the hottest manicure of the season is refreshingly understated. As seen on the likes of Hailey Bieber,<\/a> Adele<\/a> and Megan Fox<\/a> in recent weeks, the most popular shade of the moment is actually a simple, solid black.<\/p>\n

As makeup looks are increasingly leaning towards a late 90s cybergoth aesthetic \u2013 see also: the black lipstick trend<\/a> \u2013 it seems nails will follow suit, with deeper and darker shades set to dominate our digits.<\/p>\n

Kourtney Kardashian<\/a>, who has really been living out her goth girl fantasy this year, opted for a glossy black manicure only days ago, which will now be forever immortalized in those<\/em> engagement snaps from drummer beau Travis Barker<\/a>‘s loved-up proposal.<\/p>\n
