Earlier this week, Emma Watson returned to the red carpet for the first time in what feels like forever, reminding us all that sustainability can be sexy (and very stylish) in a white tulle gown by Harris Reed, upcycled from second-hand bridal dresses from Oxfam.\u00a0Now, the British actress has blessed us with yet another fashion <\/span>moment,<\/span><\/i> this time showing off her toned torso in a crop top-esque design\u2014very \u201890s, very Y2K, very Dua Lipa<\/a>\u2014with a difference.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead of opting for denim butterfly tops with jeans<\/a>, like Lipa is want to do, Watson made the crop top\u2014and underboob\u2014trends elegant by enlisting London-based designer Emilia Wickstead to create her a custom-made two-piece for a meeting with\u00a0 \u201cone of her idols\u201d, Al Gore. <\/span><\/p>\n

As Watson noted on Instagram, the green floral separates were made using leftover fabrics from Wickstead\u2019s Resort 2022 collection, which included 62 per cent recycled yarn that was woven and printed in Italy. \u201cThank you to the loveliest Emilia for making me this beautiful custom piece\u2026 I will be wearing this a lot!!,\u201d Watson wrote.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
