WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 20 AEDT:<\/span> THE OUTNET<\/a> has launched another exclusive capsule collection with Victoria Beckham! Derived from the designer’s archival trove of classic dresses, chunky knitwear, and crisp shirting comes a new and exclusive 25-piece offering launching globally on the luxury online retailer today: THE OUTNET X VICTORIA BECKHAM EXCLUSIVE<\/a>. Prices range for $455 to $1545.<\/p>\n

“This collaboration was a wonderful opportunity for us to repurpose excess fabric is a new, exciting way,” says Beckham. “It’s a celebration of our past with a future thinking approach.”<\/p>\n

“The cohesive capsule perfectly captures the essence of the Victoria Beckham brand with its effortless approach and luxury materials,” says Kate Benson, head of buying at THE OUTNET. “Our intention was to offer a blend of winter wardrobe staples and fashion-forward items which I really feel we have achieved with this collection.”<\/p>\n

GRAZIA caught up with the wunderkind designer ahead of the news to chat about her favorite pieces from the line, and how she strives to create a timeless and modern wardrobe for every woman.<\/p>\n

GRAZIA: <\/span>Can you describe the ultimate VB woman.<\/p>\n

Victoria Beckham:<\/span> “I\u2019m so inspired by my community, so I\u2019d say the ultimate VB woman is a real woman, she\u2019s our woman. She\u2019s someone who has a career, has a varied social life, and understands the need for balance in life. But she\u2019s also someone who really loves, and enjoys, fashion.”<\/p>\n

GRAZIA:<\/span> How would you define the characteristics of your designs?<\/p>\n

Victoria Beckham: <\/span>“I think what I\u2019ve created over the past 13 years is a true modern wardrobe. Our signature elements are beautifully cut tailoring, elegant dresses, elevated denim and menswear-inspired shirting. There\u2019s always an element of playfulness, a slight eccentricity, whether that\u2019s a unique print or a bright, unexpected colour somewhere it wouldn\u2019t typically be used. I don\u2019t take myself too seriously and neither do my designs.”<\/p>\n

GRAZIA: <\/span>What are the hero silhouettes you return each season?<\/p>\n

Victoria Beckham: <\/span>“A classic tailored jacket for sure \u2013 we\u2019ve created this great checked style for the capsule that\u2019s so versatile. You can throw it over a dress, with a T-shirt and jeans or with a shirt and tailored trousers for something a little smarter.”<\/p>\n

GRAZIA: <\/span>What are your top three picks from the collection and why?<\/p>\n

Victoria Beckham: <\/span>“The checked trench, it feels like a fresh take on a really classic silhouette. Then I love the cobalt blue pieces \u2013 the dress and the knit \u2013 it\u2019s such a bold color it makes even the simplest of pieces feel statement.”<\/p>\n

GRAZIA: <\/span>What inspires you? Where do you visit or look to for inspiration for your collections?<\/p>\n

Victoria Beckham: <\/span>“So much. I love modern art and I always find a visit to a new exhibition or gallery really inspiring. We recently went to a brilliant immersive experience in Miami which had huge projection, light and mirror installations, which instantly sparked some ideas for prints.”<\/p>\n

GRAZIA: <\/span>What brings you joy?<\/p>\n

Victoria Beckham: “<\/span><\/strong>Spending time with my family. Now the boys are (almost) all grown up and living away from home, family time is so precious and we never take it for granted.”<\/p>\n
