Hillary Clinton<\/a> has released her fair share of non-fiction books in the past surrounding her time as the former First Lady to Bill Clinton as well as on her experience in the White House. But in a first, Clinton has launched a fictional crime novel dubbed, State of Terror<\/a>. <\/em>Released this week, it was written in partnership with acclaimed crime author Louise Penny.<\/p>\n

While it is incredible to imagine Clinton dreaming up some far flung plot, the storyline doesn’t stray too far from what she knows and more modern historical events. It follows a former international media mogul, Ellen Adams, who is appointed U.S. secretary of state by Douglas Williams, a president whose candidacy she opposes. A series of terror attacks take place in cities across the globe, and are all seemingly linked. In a diplomatic race of life and death, Adams is forced to fly across the globe to meet with world leaders.<\/p>\n
