James Bond has a longstanding history of being a style icon<\/a> throughout the years from his origins in 1962. Something about a well-dressed man in a three-piece suit fighting crime just does it for everyone. However, while eyes were focused on the 007 secret agents, his sidekick Bond girls<\/a> were subtle but oh-so iconic in making fashion statements.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Just as James Bond’s style has transitioned from his three-piece suit days to Daniel Craig in timeless Tom Ford, the Bond girl has also evolved. While the early Bond girl was categorized by bikini and sultry silhouettes (see: Gloria Hendry as Rosie Carver in <\/span>Live and Let Die<\/span><\/em> (1973)), today’s are super elegant, sexy, and effortless. L\u00e9a Seydoux nails the modern version perfectly as Madeleine Swann in <\/span>Spectre<\/span><\/em>\u00a0(2015) and\u00a0<\/span>No Time to Die<\/span><\/em><\/a> (2021).<\/span><\/p>\n

To achieve the Bond girl look, a few staples must be included in your wardrobe. The first is a statement-making dress that packs star power yet is timeless. Modesty isn’t a consideration as much as mobility when fighting crime so high slits or flowy gowns are the ideal type of dress. The franchise also boasts some iconic suit looks, Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore in <\/span>Goldfinger<\/span><\/em> wore a white suit with gold button-up that is still relevant today.
